Voter ID…Yeah or Neah?

A bill to require Texans to show a photo ID before voting passed the Texas House on Wednesday night despite repeated efforts by Democrats to derail it.

Here’s my thought…if you feel like you have a right to vote, and determine outcomes with regards to elections – including electing of local/state officials, legislation, tax increases (or decreases) – and the like…then Texas has every right to expect you to ID yourself prior to casting that ballot.

Do you agree?  Do you feel like it’s rightfully time to require identification prior to punching through the chads of the ballot?
