Which of Midland's tall buildings is good for visiting an upper floor and looking out over the countryside?

There is a rooftop Bar and restaurant at the Hilton - Ali Bubbas. Silly name, but they have a great menu and you can sit up there and see Downtown. It is only on the rnd or 3rd story, but it is a nice view.

Thanks. I'll definitely check it out. Does anyone know of vantage points on higher floors? BTW, how tall is Midland's tallest 'skyscraper' (number of floors)?

The Bank of America tower (303 W Wall) has 24 floors. The Wilco Bldg (415 W Wall) has 22 floors. I'd suggest going to the 21st or 22nd floor of the Bank of America building for a view. (23 and 24 aren't as 'public accessible' as 21 or 22.) The Wilco doesn't have window view from it's common areas, only the offices. Being the downtown FedEx guy for 2 years, I've become very familiar.

Thank you very much for the information. It is very helpful to me. I have always enjoyed views from high vantage points (Sears Tower, IDS Tower, Pike's Peak, etc) I look forward to my next visit to down town Midland!

You can get a decent city view on top of the Wilco parking garage. Beyond the gorgeous modern and staid 1950's style buildings, you can see ClayDesta, the surrounding area, and many trees. I would love to carve out living space on the uncovered floor of that parking garage. Just whir around and say hello!
