All Aboard!
After having spent much time at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Guggenhiem, the Orsay and Louvre in Paris, and the many galleries of SOHO in NYC, it was a delight to get voted to the Arts Assembly of Midland Board of Trustees.
Art is such a critical part of our existance, everyday! Art is everywhere we choose to explore it. From our skyline downtown, to our western cowboy art, to our abstract pieces in our parks. The exploration of colors, shapes, dimensions, can consume us for hours. The creation of pieces for our own personal enjoyment (thats what I do!) to those we share with the world is a great creative process that helps keep the mind sharp, active and appreciative. Support the arts whenever and wherever you are!
Anyone headed to Alpine for the Gallery Night and Artwalk? Its November 21st and 22nd. Let us know and maybe we can get a group together. Otherwise I may just hop on the bike and make a weekend road trip out of it!
