Performance 9-11 AM; Market closes at 1 PM

 

The Midland Downtown Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday 9a.m. - 1p.m. from April through November. We offer local and sustainable produce, coffee, baked goods, as well as local arts and crafts.

 

 

Sunday, August 23

 

The Museum of the Southwest’s Summer Sunday Lawn Concert series closes this Sunday with The Shades playing party rock beginning at 7:15 p.m. The performance is sponsored by House of Printing and Lite Rock 98 KODM.

 

No concert will be held in the event of rain. All performances are free and held on the grounds of the museum, 1705 W. Missouri Ave.

 

 

Friday, August 28

 

Concert and Dance: The West Texas Jazz Society will present the Lon Clark Moonlight Serenade Big Band in a concert and dance Friday at the Midland Hilton ballroom, downtown.

 

The event begins at 8 p.m. WTJS members are free. Non-members admission is $20. Seating is open. A cash bar will be available. For more information, call 683-2026 or 550-0996. The event is sponsored by the Arts Assembly of Midland, Texas Commission on the Arts and the Odessa Council for the Arts and Humanities.
